ZETA BETA TAU
At Florida International University
Established as a colony in 2012, and as the Eta Rho chapter in 2014, Zeta Beta Tau at FIU has proudly excelled in its values through our dedication in philanthropy, social and community involvement, personal and professional development as well as a growing network of undergraduate and Alumni members. Our brothers have found an organization that not only fosters self-improvement and a rigorous collegiate experience but a brotherhood that goes beyond college and that instills values of a man of good character. Keep reading to learn more about our chapter and how to join something bigger than yourself.

OUR MISSION
The mission of Zeta Beta Tau Fraternity (ZBT) is to foster and develop in its brotherhood the tenets of its Credo: Intellectual Awareness, Social Responsibility, Integrity and Brotherly Love, in order to prepare its brothers for positions of leadership and service within their communities.

Mindful of its founding in 1898 as the world’s first Jewish Fraternity, ZBT will preserve and cultivate its relationships within the Jewish community. Since 1954, ZBT has been committed to its policy of non-sectarian brotherhood, and values the diversity of its brothers. ZBT will recruit and initiate men of good character, regardless of religion, race or creed who are accepting of these principles.

A Letter From the President

Santiago Ortiz, Eta Rho 2019 President
It is a great honor to serve as the 2019 President alongside an exceptional executive board for our brothers of the Eta Rho chapter of Zeta Beta Tau. Our Fraternity is bound by diversity and distinct membership, yet all our actions are guided by our core values: Intellectual Awareness, Social Responsibility, Integrity, and Brotherly Love. My tenure in the fraternity for over two years has allowed me to see and experience the growth and bonds of my brothers through the countless experiences that ZBT has brought along, and I can say with confidence that joining this fraternity was the best decision I have made in collegiate career, it is with great honor and humility that I take this leadership role in my chapter, none of which I would have achieved without the aid of my brotherhood. Check out the rest of our website to learn more about our Brotherhood for a lifetime and feel free to reach out to me or any of the executive board members with any questions.
