GET ON THE BALL 2018

GET ON THE BALL
APRIL
Get on the Ball is ZBT's signature philanthropy event benefiting our national philanthropy, Children's Miracle Network Hospitals (CMNH). GOTB consists of rolling a giant beach ball around campus collecting signatures in order to gain awareness and funds for our local CMNH, Nicklaus Children's Hospital. The funds come from corporate and local sponsors, individual donations and from contestants for our Golden Empress Pageant which is the culmination of the Get on the Ball week.

GREEN LIGHT GO!
FALL EVENT
Green Light GO! (GLG) is ZBT's second major philanthropy event, benefiting our national philanthropy: Jewish Women International (JWI) and in collaboration with the It's On Us initiative and FIU's Victim Empowerment Program (VEP). GLG is a large game of Green light, Red light in which the lights represent the spectrum of sexual consent with red and yellow representing no consent and green representing consent. This event raises funds and awareness to address the major problem of sexual assault and rape culture in college campuses.

GOLDEN EMPRESS PAGEANT
APRIL
ZBT's annual Golden Empress pageant is the culmination of Get on the Ball week, where participants from various sororities on campus raise funds and awareness all week in order to represent the gentlemen of ZBT in their philanthropic efforts for the upcoming year.

ROARTHON
APRIL
FIU's annual dance marathon, Roarthon is a 17 hour event where participants stand up for those who can't in order to raise funds and awareness to the local CMNH, Nicklaus Children's Hospital. The brothers of ZBT partnered up with Phi Mu in this year's Roarthon and were able to raise $16,213.10 towards CMNH, bringing home the Miracle Cup! We also sponsored a Miracle Child, Jacob, and were able to see how the funds directly benefited kids like him.
